How it all started….

Luthier Febo Waanders grew up in a family of woodworkers and carpenters. His grandfather, some uncles and
cousins were carpenters and even his mother would have been one if that had been acceptable at the time.
Needless to say Febo has become a carpenter just like them.

Besides being a passionate woodworker, Febo is also an enthusiastic music lover, in particular of music played
on acoustic guitars. It was inevitable that he would combine the love of wood and guitars into building string
instruments and it was obvious from the start that Febo had a great talent for this.

Febo has grown into a highly respected builder of great instruments, considered being top class all over the world.
Using the best materials and very exotic tonewoods, Febo builds guitars that sound great and can last a lifetime.
